Scott Ellis, of RE/MAX At The Coast, works daily with first-time home buyers, as well as investors from throughout the U.S. He and his son Ty Bellamy, founded RE/MAX At The Coast in 2006, and through some of the most trying times in recent history have weathered the storm to produce one of the most productive and successful offices along the Grand Strand.
Scott, serves as Broker-In-Charge and is licensed in both North Carolina., and South Carolina. He began his real estate career in 1995. Originally from eastern North Carolina, Scott attended high school in Goldsboro, NC and graduated in Virginia Beach, Va. He also attended Tidewater Community College, in Virginia Beach, while managing the family restaurant.
Scott has served on numerous boards along the Grand Strand and been an active participate in many community fund raising activities. He served as Vice-President ,and President of The Grand Strand Board of REALTORS, and was instrumental in the merger of The Grand Strand Board of REALTORS with The Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS in 2008. He currently serves as Treasurer, and also is a State Director with The South Carolina REALTORS. He also currently is serving his second term on the M.L.S. committee for CCAR. He also is a graduate of Leadership S.C.R. 2008, and has his Certified Distressed Properties designation,and is an R.E.O. Specialist. Ellis is also a former member of the Ocean Drive Lions Club.
In his personal time he most enjoys being a grandfather, boating, and spending time traveling. He is married to Ruth Anne Ellis, a true native of the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach, they reside in Cherry Grove. Let Scott assist you with all of your real estate needs.
